Stunning Bathroom and Sauna Renovation – See the Before and After Photos!

A beautiful bathroom and sauna renovation was completed in Kuopio, where the original wet areas of a detached house built in 1986 were in clear need of an update. The goal of the renovation was to improve functionality and comfort while giving the entire bathroom and sauna a fresher new look.

Bathroom Improvements

The wall and floor tiles were completely removed, and the underfloor heating was renewed to provide maximum comfort.

The layout of the fixtures was reorganised to improve functionality, and the shower wall was built as a fixed structure using tiled wet room boards. The location of the shower was also moved to a more practical position.

The new tiles were carefully selected to bring freshness and elegance to the space.

Sauna Upgrade

The sauna received modern mood lighting, including lighting around the heater and lights placed behind the backrests.

The benches and ceiling were panelled with heat-treated aspen, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere in the sauna.

The Final Result

After the renovation, the bathroom and sauna feel completely refreshed. Stylish lighting, fresh tiles, and new materials make the spaces not only modern but also timeless. It is a space the whole family can enjoy, and you can almost sense the feeling of something brand new.
