Restaurant Renovations: Gloria, Salacavala and Bierstube

The nostalgic Kuopio beer restaurant Bierstube was given a completely renewed setting. Jokiväri renovated this challenging and historic venue with respect for its original character while modernising the infrastructure required for restaurant operations.

In the basement of Gloria nightclub, the former service counter was replaced with an intimate and atmospheric VIP area. A completely new bar counter was also built in the karaoke area, allowing customers to be served more efficiently.

Because the premises were built inside a former bank vault, the renovation also had to account for exceptionally solid structures and thick walls.

The working areas and kitchen of Café-Restaurant SalaCavala also underwent a complete renovation and transformation.

The renovation was planned together with the customer, and the colour scheme of the dining area was carried through into the kitchen. Durability guided the choice of materials, as commercial premises are not intended to be renovated every year or even every few years.
