2025 Behind Us, Looking Ahead to 2026

2025 continued to challenge the entire industry. Here, our CEO reflects on the past year, the decisions made, and the expectations for 2026.

Thoughts from the CEO at the Turn of the Year

2025 may not have turned out quite as positively as the forecasts at the beginning of the year suggested. However, towards the end of the year, my own impression was that the market was beginning to improve, supported by a high level of tendering activity. Despite this, competition remained intense and continued to keep prices low.

We begin 2026 once again with a sense of anticipation. A full recovery in the renovation market may still take time, but there are already positive signs of increasing demand. Some of the factors that have held demand back, such as high interest rates and cost levels, have also eased and are no longer slowing down the start of new projects to the same extent.

Although the industry has been marked by a struggle to survive, we have continued to invest determinedly in development and have also expanded geographically. It has been a bold decision, but it is based on our belief in an improving economy and a growing market. We believe that the investments we are making now will help us become stronger when the market returns to more normal conditions.

As always, our focus cannot be only on this year or the next. It must remain on our long-term goals. I have to admit that the finish line has moved slightly, but perhaps that does not matter. We will continue taking the necessary steps to reach our goals and try to enjoy the journey along the way. If the journey is difficult at times, the reward will feel even more worthwhile.

Reaching our destination also requires good partners. We have been fortunate to find reliable subcontracting partners who help ensure the success of our projects. Thank you to everyone for the excellent cooperation on our construction sites.

Happy New Year 2026!
