Jokiväri Continues Its Partnership with Seeti Surakka

We are continuing our partnership with Finnish baseball player Seeti Surakka for the 2025 season. Seeti is returning from Puijon Pesis to his junior club, Joensuun Maila, and we are pleased to support him as he continues his journey.

The partnership was officially renewed when Jokiväri’s Jukka Lasaroff and Seeti Surakka shook hands to mark the agreement.

“Seeti’s return to Joensuu is great news. He is a determined and hardworking player, which is exactly the kind of attitude we also value at Jokiväri,” Lasaroff says.

Seeti sees the partnership as important support for his career.

“It is great to continue working with Jokiväri. Support from local companies means a great deal, and it is wonderful to have them involved in my journey towards Superpesis,” Surakka says.

During the 2025 season, Seeti will compete with Ukko Schroderus for the position of Joensuun Maila’s first-choice pitcher. His goal is to help the team return to the top of Superpesis and secure his own position as pitcher.
